With love,
Hello! My name is Daniel Jackson, and there are two things you should know about me right away. First, my faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life. Second, I take my role as a "love synthesizer" very seriously. Wedding photography is so much more than just snapping photos – it’s about being part of the moments that matter most. On your wedding day, you’ll likely spend more time with your photographer than with anyone else, so it’s important that person adds to your day, not just documents it. I see myself as more than a photographer; I’m a participant in the story of great couples. At the end of each wedding, I don’t just reflect on the images I’ve created, but on how my presence helped breathe life into your celebration. After nine years of wedding experience and prayers over nearly 100 budding marriages, I am deeply proud of all the couples I now consider friends.
Away from the lens, I’m also a physician assistant student and a self-proclaimed eggnog connoisseur. My fiancé and I are training for a half marathon – and, to be honest, neither of us quite understands why! On any given day, you’ll find us pickle-balling, playing Boggle, snuggling, planning our own wedding, or enjoying fajitas for two at our favorite Mexican restaurant. Or, on those cloudy days when she's got a lot to get done, all I need is a hammock and a great book to pass the time
This life is but a vapor, and whether we work together or not, I encourage you to never stop nurturing your love. Don’t take each other for granted, and never stop cuddling.
Hi, I’m Daniel Jackson. My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life, and I see myself as more than just a wedding photographer—I’m a “love synthesizer.” With 9 years of experience and nearly 100 weddings, I strive to not only capture moments but add joy to your day. My goal is to leave as a friend, helping breathe life into your celebration.
When I’m not behind the lens, I’m a physician assistant student, eggnog lover, and half-marathon trainee with my fiancé. We love pickleball, Boggle, and enjoying fajitas for two. Life is short, so never stop nurturing your love and never stop cuddling!
Every detail, every glance, every laugh – these moments are more than mere photographs. They’re the start of your story and fleeting moments such as these become cherished memories to last a lifetime. Photography isn’t about snapping pictures; it’s about preserving the essence of your love. Your story deserves cherishing, and my goal is to ensure that every moment feels as authentic as the love you share.

"Where to begin... Daniel, you made our wedding day so unbelievably special. It's hard for me to put everything into words because there are so many praises and so many thank you's that I wish I could share. Not only did you take the reins when it came to our wedding timeline, but you made sure that everyone felt like they played a part in our big day. All of our guests, whether they be family, friends or plus-ones, complemented the way that you worked. You made everyone from our grandparents to our 6 year old niece have a truly wonderful time. When the forecast called for rain, you reassured me that not only would our wedding still be perfect, but that our photos would turn out as well as if we had sun. Much to our surprise, the rain cleared just before our ceremony, and you captured our first look, our wedding party photos and our more intimate portraits without a hitch. Looking back to over a year ago when we were going through the initial photographer search, I was worried that we wouldn't find someone that would complement our quirky relationship. Right when we were about to contract with a photographer that we felt "okay" about, we found you! When working with a photographer for the first time, I'm sure many brides are initially uneasy about smooching their loved one in front of some random guy behind a lens...But with you, there was no awkwardness, there was no tension, and there was not one moment where we didn't look at you as a friend. From our engagement shoot, to the moments leading up to the big day, to our wedding itself, you always made us feel comfortable. I knew we were in good hands from step 1, all the way to step 999. I can say wholeheartedly that my husband and I look back our wedding day and say "remember when we did this with Daniel", or "remember how awesome Daniel made that moment"... I was absolutely spoiled by all of my vendors, and I know that I am a fortunate bride for saying so, but Daniel- you really made it all so very special. We cannot thank you enough for your professionalism, your generosity, and your friendship. I wish that we could relive the day over and over again."

"Daniel, I do not know how to express how special you made our day. I was told over and over again how great you were both as a photographer and as a person. One thing Kyle and I loved the most is that you clearly know what you are doing and how to get the best/most photos efficiently. With it being so hot outside, you only kept the people that had to be in the heat outside. Once someone was no longer needed, you told them to go inside. This meant a lot to us, since it was so hot! You also made everyone so comfortable! From our engagement photos to the wedding photos, you made Kyle and I comfortable enough to kiss and "nuzzle" in public, which is not always an easy task. You were also so much FUN! One of Kyle and I's favorite parts of the wedding was when you started dancing with everyone. I had so many family and friends tell me how great of a dancer you are! Finally, the turn around time is unbelievable. Every bride and groom want their photos as soon as they can, and you actually make that happen. To get so many photos within about 2 weeks is incredible. I don't know how you could have been any better! Thank you for everything you did! We love all of our photos and feel like you captured our day beautifully!!"
As someone in the process of planning my own wedding, I know what it's like to have a million details to on your list. While I can't make all those decisions for you, but I can at least make my process as transparent as possible.
First, if you like the work I create and you could see us working well together, reach out to say hello! I'll get back to you within 72 hours to give you more info on my work and to set up a time to chat.
Meet me over video before booking to make sure I'm the right photographer for you. This call is all about me getting to know your story and then explaining some of my process. We'll look through the contract, and answer any of your questions!
Although this usually takes less than an hour, this is a big decision for you to make, and so I don't put a limit on the time. Bring every question you and the internet can conjure up!
At the engagement session I train you on my style, teaching you my posing system well in advance of your big day. That way, when we get to the aisle, you know exactly what I mean when I say you've got a "smushie" or that I want you to do a "prom pose." And plus, snuggling in a park is just so dang fun!
Oh, and by the time we're done, I believe every man should know how to properly dip a woman.
As the photographer, I need to know where every person will be at every part of the day. So, I work with you, your coordinator, and your venue to ensure that your timeline is as perfect as can be.
A month before the wedding we'll get together one more time to ensure that every detail is just right. We'll finalize shot list, and I'll talk you through some last minute details you likely haven't considered quite yet.
The timeline is finished, you know my posing system, and now it's just time to relax and fully embrace these fleeting moments. I'll be with you all throughout the day helping where I can. Of course I'll be capturing the laughter and the tears, but you can also consider me your personal assistant for just about anything. Need some water? Need someone to fluff your dress? Not sure what time makeup should finish? Need a bobby pin for an annoying dress malfunction? I've got you covered!
Welcome to marriage! As you step beyond the threshold, I'll be working to help you remember the all that came before, ensuring all products are delivered. My images are delivered through an online gallery and my wedding albums are crafted by a wonderful company called KISS.
Take your images and enjoy! Share them. Print them. Hang them. Love them. They are yours to enjoy.
Here concludes the journey. It is my honor to send off each couple with as much love as I can give. In the end I hope we've become friends, and as a potential friend, I am here if you need me. Never hesitate to reach out! Annabel and I would love to take of you on in pickle ball any time.
