Meet Bryan and Frankie... by far the most inspirational Father & Daughter combo, I ever met.  I have had the privilege of knowing Bryan since our very first commercial photo shoot in 2008 at his epic salon 'Blo', in Raleigh, NC.  Bryan and 'The Franks' decided to spend a day in Wilmington, getting some artistic portraits around the city, and hang with Uncle Dan.

We had originally planned on doing a beach portrait session of the two of them, but The Franks decided that she was going to be resilient and not take her scheduled nap.  This threw a wrench in our original plans due to the time of day, logistics, etc... Bryan was blown away because he said in the History of the Franks, she has never missed a nap!  Go figure!!!  She was so excited about her pics with Uncle Dan that she couldn't bear it.  Ha!

So instead of fighting the machine we went to plan B, which ended up being even better.  We started off at Kilwins Ice Cream Shop.  I guess between the ridiculous smell of the home-made waffle cones and the thought of getting her amped on sugar, it was a winning combo.  :)

Ice cream at Kilwin's is always reliable.  So after a few shots we decided to hit River Walk which is the board walk here.  Unfortunately The Franks tripped and Dad came to the rescue.  I absolutely loved this shot where the Franks was so upset, looking at the camera while crying, and Dad is down on a knee holding the balloon and teddy while blowing on her cut.  Priceless!!!  It wasn't long and we were back on track and the shots just kept on rolling!!!

Once we hit the boardwalk hearts started melting.  The undeniable bond between these two, is beyond incredible.

After we finished at the boardwalk it was off to Greenfield Park in Wilmington.  Check out these shots!!!  It just goes to show you that it is hard to beat the love between a Father and Daughter.
