Us men need to be inspired in this life. We have such incredible pressure to perform with excellence both physically and mentally. Most of us simply wait for inspiration to come to us. Unfortunately that inspiration comes so infrequently that we limit our potential and fall short of our achievements and spirituality in this life.

What I was fortunate enough to have learned during an extremely difficult year of tribulation, is that we can tap into daily spiritual inspiration. A personal, intimate and custom teaching in real time, through the living word of the Bible.

The Bible is the Living Truth

Now some of you might immediately shut down in hearing this because you have not had this experience with the Bible. Maybe you were brought up agnostic or in a traditional church where the only time you opened up a spiritual book was a hymn book to sing songs or read an occasional verse in sync with the minister. I can personally relate with the latter and i’m here to assure you that the Bible is so much more than just a history book.  It is a gift from God that teaches, inspires and empowers us to be our absolute BEST in this life. It was written for ‘you’ and me and is applicable in every single day of our lives. That is why it is commonly referred to as ‘The living word.’

John 15: 1-5 (New American Standard Translation) (Quote from Jesus)

  1. “I am the true vine and my father is the vinedresser.
  2. “Every branch (you and me) that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit.
  3. “You are already clean because of the word (Bible) which I have spoken to you.
  4. “Abide in Me, and I in you.  As the branches can not bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me.
  5. “I am the vine, you are the branches;  He who abides in me, and I in Him, He bears much fruit; For apart from Me you can do nothing.
  6. “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch, and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
  7. “If you abide in Me, and My words (only found in the Bible) abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you.
  8. “By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.

Spiritual Growth

As you grow in your walk with the Lord you will begin to hear His voice.  As I was writing this message I felt lead to open the book of John. The very first verse I came to was the one I just quoted, which is applicable to my point.  vs. 7 “If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish and it shall be done for you.” Does this sound inspirational to you? From my experience, the Bible is the most inspiring book ever written.

If you are feeling uninspired or if you are feeling like life is just not as deep and rich as you expected it to be, I challenge you to open a Bible. If you are comfortable praying, pray that the Lord guides you and teaches you what He wants you to hear. There is also another incredible resource that has been invaluable in my quest for daily inspiration. It is a daily devotional book written by Sarah Young called, ‘Jesus Calling, Enjoying Peace in His presence’. If you were to look on Amazon and read the thousand of reviews of it you would see Im not alone in that this book is life changing like no other daily devotional I have ever read.

We can all find our way!!!

My intent to teach others what I have learned, from mistakes that I have made.  I hope these words connect with you and challenge you. Life is a gift and it is our responsibility to find the good in it and not expect good things to simply come to us. By the grace of God, we can all find our way if we seek Him.
