On a wonderful day back in 2017 I received a message from Andrew, where he excitedly told me about how he had just gotten engaged to “the most wonderful, beautiful woman,” (his first words about Abbie) and asked me if I’d consider working with them at their wedding. Of course, knowing what a fantastic guy he was in high school, I was eager to meet this woman. After one short FB Messanger conversation between the three of us, I was left speechless by the joy and love that overflowed from their relationship. I’ve never told them this, but after we spoke that day, I actually spent a good amount of time praying that they would choose me as their wedding photographer. After all, they were exactly the kind of couple I love working with.
Long story short, they hired me. =D I photographed their engagement in Auburn, and then their wedding in Newnan. Through these experiences, I learned what a great couple can look like when you add an extreme amount of selfless consideration into the equation. So, when we decided to do an anniversary session back in Newnan, I was downright ecstatic!
After all this time, these two haven’t changed one bit. Abbie still giggles at just about everything, and Andrew laughs at just about every giggle. They are still kind, considerate, overwhelmingly loving, and unbelievably sweet. In fact, I’d say that A&A have somehow managed to become cuter as time has gone by (something I truly didn’t believe was possible). As I’ve always known them to be, they live on as one of the most adorable couples I think has ever existed, and I expect them to remain that way all throughout their journey together.
P.S. Downtown Newnan is an amazingly beautiful town to take couple pictures in.
One of my new favorites.
This is where I remembered that Abbie is quite ticklish.
If you’d like to know why Abbie laughing so hard here, you’ll have to ask them.
It doesn’t matter where you are. If you’ve got a great sunset, you’ve got everything you need.
