There is one common factor that links every great relationship: two fantastic individuals. Whether it be in friendship or in romance, the quality and fortitude therein can almost always been first observed in the strength of the two individuals involved. Although we did have fun trying to convince her mother otherwise, Cody and Victoria are not engaged. In fact, they’ve only been dating about three months now after being set up on a blind date to Victoria’s formal. But, even still, just the snippet of their relationship that I saw shined! Victoria’s INCREDIBLY sweet southern accent mixed with Cody’s relaxed, confident demeanor was ridiculously fun to interact with.

It’s just SO nice to work with couples that selflessly care for the joy of the other. To illustrate this best I need to explain something. Victoria, Cody, and I met up in Opelika on Wednesday around the sunset to take pictures. Stereotypically, this is not most guys’ DREAM afternoon activity. However, Cody was not only willing to come out with Victoria, dressed sharply, to do whatever would bring her the most joy. He did this even though he had TWO engineering tests the following day. ENGINEERING. For that reason alone I give him HUGE points!

Further, they were just… fun!!! Victoria has a seemingly ENDLESS supply of energy that overflowed so much it seemed totally able to supply herself and Cody! She was graceful and jubilant and carefree, giggling at every opportunity given.

I am grateful to have met them and will be following along as they continue growing as individual and as a couple. Thank you my new friends for meeting with me. It was a VERY enjoyable afternoon that I am very thankful to have been a part of.

A favorite moment. After lifting her up in the air, Cody just decided it was time to spin. Victoria laughed the entire time!

Me: “Cody, nibble Victoria’s nose. From my angle people will NEVER even realize what you’re doing.”

[ON THE RIGHT] Me: “Do something cute!”

I’m not sure where these Auburn students get trained so well, but their dipping is ON POINT!

Thanks again you two. You are a djaxcouple now, and even though we live many miles apart, I consider you to be friends. Say hello any time.
