Rebecca and Britt are truly a one of a kind pair. The kind of couple where no matter what they’re doing, they’ll enjoy the journey just because they are together. That’s just who they are. At the wedding when the forecast called for an nonstop shower to last the entire event, these two seemed to give the downpour no more than a cursory acknowledgement, refusing to let anything dampen their spirits or battle against their love. In fact, if anything, the rain served as an amazing cotrast to their unquenchable joy. (Also, it was a great chance to bust out the clear umbrellas!) They are beyond patient. They are beyond kind. They are… genuinely great people! They have each chosen individually to spend their lives serving the mission of the gospel around the world, laying down their own comfort to help where it’s needed most. And beyond their mission to the world, they are incredibly tender with each other. I could rant for a while about why I love these two, but here’s just one example from this day alone as to why I think they’re great:
Britt is one of the most impressive men I think I’ve ever known. Not only did he write a letter for Rebecca for her to read at the wedding, he also wrote her a letter seven years ago, expressing his love for his eventual bride and committing himself to her alone. Before he knew Rebecca he loved her enough to wait.
Rebecca. Britt. I am blown away by your relationship. Enjoy Canada. America will you see again in a month! ;D

It took five minutes to get the confetti popper to go. You twist the bottom!
One final smile before giving her away.
Britt knows how to dip a woman!
Thanks again you two. You are an incredible example of what Godly love should look like lived out in this world.
